Get REAL began in 2011 as a non-profit organization of university students helping high school students unlearn LGBT discrimination and bullying. When I Love Travel (S-Trip!) & Get REAL became partners in 2013, the concept was born of a Get REAL International division, which would empower high school students to volunteer on their grad trip.
In March this dream became an incredible reality for over 4,700 S-Trip! students, who helped build three houses, a day-care, and refurbished 15 schools & shelters in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
We are very proud to share this night with you, and celebrate all that we have accomplished and everything that is to come. The night will include music, munchies, drinks, and a silent art auction, with all proceeds donated to Get Real.
